Japan Days in Kaunas 2025
Tomorroway was proud to join this year’s Japan Days in Kaunas, Lithuania, which ran from May 7th to 10th. We supported Kyoto-based Hanatoyo Landscape Co., Ltd. with two lectures explaining the origins and traditions of Japanese garden design at Sugihara House and the Kaunas Centre for Education Innovation. The latter also hosted two tea ceremonies for over 100 attendees, which were led by the Urasenke Foundation’s Warsaw branch in collaboration with Hanatoyo Landscape Co., Ltd and Tomorroway. We are grateful to the staff of the Embassy of Japan in Lithuania for their support throughout our events.
Kaunas is twinned with Hiratsuka in Kanagawa and Yaotsu in Gifu, and the annual festival brings Japanese contemporary and traditional arts to Lithuania’s second largest city.
